International Master Nico Zwirs will explain the ideas behind the opening and help the kids to understand the Sicilian by offering a repertoire against the Najdorf and the Scheveningen.

The lesson will be realized using the LPA Method: Learn, Play and Analyze – the positions will be first introduced, then the kids will play them both against each other and in simul, after which they will analyze together.

The English Attack, characterized by the setup with f3, Be3 and Qd2, is a line made popular in the 80s by Short and other English players and since then also adopted, among others, by World Champions Kasparov and Anand.
