U8: Win for Botvinnik School

Worldwide U8 Center A – December 9, 2020

The team of Botvinnik Chess School is winner of the Worldwide U8 Center A competition that was held on December 9, 2020. Numerous team from Moscow that consisted of 16 students, outplayed all their opponents and won by a large margin. Second place for the young team of KSz “HETMAN” Katowice, Poland. It has been a long time since some European team managed to compete with Russians, congratulations! Third came Sport School №2 Kstovo under 8 team.

In group Center B, Sakarya Analiz Satranç Kulubü (Turkey) was the best, returning to the top league for the next event. ДША Kravchess ™ (Russia) and Weteach (Russia) also deserved to be promoted. In Center C, excellent performance by Latvia Junior, numerous team and strong that will soon break in top ranks. Worldwide U8 received 345 players this week.

SHARP KIDS Under 8 (The Philippines) won Worldwide U8 Division East, with only few points in front of Penang Chess Association (Malaysia) and Федерация Шахмат Республики Башкортостан (Russia).


Division West: Veracruz Mexico U-08 team won convincingly, with the new team of ANBA COCHABAMBA (Bolivia) coming second and Arriba PERÚ third.
